Geraldine Struening Obituary
Geri was born to John Van and Amy Hoffman of High Bridge, NJ on July 28, 1929. In 1952 she married Andrew J. Struening Jr. of Clinton, NJ. In 1970 the Struening family relocated to Brick NJ, where Geri raised her family and worked for many years, retiring from the Brick Township School System Cafeteria.
Geri is survived by her daughters - Sandra L. Struening of Whiting, NJ, Nancy R. Shay of Chambersburg, PA, Andra Jodi Struening of Holland Twp, NJ and her son Andrew J. and Cecilia Struening of Bradenton, Fl, Her beloved Grandchildren - Drew, Jeffrey, CarrieAnn, Wade, Crystal and Derek and her Great Grandchildren - Michelina and Liam and several nieces and nephews.
Geri was pre-deceased by her beloved parents, her brothers John, Charles and Ronnie, In-laws Andrew Sr. and Barbara Struening, her husband Andrew Jr. and many other beloved family members and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Health Group Foundation at 23 Main St., Suite D1, Holmdel, NJ 07733. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Geri's Hospice Team.
