Geraldine P. Toth

TOTH - Geraldine P., 76, a longtime resident of Jackson Heights, New York, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 4 at the Attleboro Community in Langhorne, Pa., where she lived since last year. Born in New York on May 17, 1939, to John and Johanna Supola, Gerry had a long career as a public-school secretary at P.S. 148 in East Elmhurst, Queens. Her passions in life were her grandchildren, on whom she poured out her generosity, and (at a distant second) her favorite musical "Phantom of the Opera," which she attended on Broadway several times and could still sing. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert, who was with her at Attleboro; her children and their spouses, Julie and Bill Power of Yardley, Pa., and Rob Toth and Nancy Fitzsimmons of Maplewood, N.J.; her grandchildren Kate and Hannah Power and Henry Toth; and her nieces Kelly Kochan of South Salem, N.Y., and Barbara and Patrick Tierney of Garden City, N.Y., and their families. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Johanna Kochan. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a life celebration at 12:30, on Saturday, May 7, at Dunn/Givnish Funeral Home, 378 S. Bellevue Ave., Langhorne, Pa.
