Gerry was truly a remarkable woman. I was one of those young Navy wives that she took under her wing during my husband's service on the USS Henry L Stimson under Bob Weeks command. She offered support, friendship, humor and unending kindness. It is my honor to have known her and to have kept in touch with her over these many years. I will miss her!!
