Gerard S. Field, 80, of Mountain Top, passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, surrounded by his family in Allied Hospice Meade Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Gerard's wishes were to have no public services. Arrangements are under the direction of Desiderio-Lehman Funeral and Cremation.

I worked with Jerry for many years. He was more than just a colleague. He was a good friend as well. Jerry always had a kind word for everyone and went beyond the call to be helpful. He will be missed very much by all.

Jerry was one of my most favorite people at Keystone. Whenever he saw me, he made me feel as if I was his best friend whom he hadn't seen in years. He truly was a gentleman and Keystone and his family have suffered a huge loss.
My deepest sympathy goes to his family and friends. I'm sure he is watching over all of you and he will always be in your hearts.

"A soldier has passed away today." Gerard, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran.

I worked at Keystone with Jerry. We shared a lot of laughs at the lunch table. I remember a couple of years ago he took my young son on a drive around campus in his purple Mustang. My son found a replica Hot Wheels car of his Mustang and gave it to him a few days later. Jerry kept it on his desk ever since.

I worked with Gerry at Keystone, and he was always the nicest to interact with. He always helped me whenever I had an issue or question, and I enjoyed stopping by to chat with him. I'm so sorry for your loss as a family and wish you all my deepest condolences.
