My childhood just flashed in front of me. i grew up with Susan on Kingswood Rd and have many fond memories of Niagara Falls, Stratford and hanging out at the Parkes house.

Such a lovely, warm, big-hearted and funny fellow, a treat to work with, a joy to listen to...a true gentleman. We were honoured to have him among us.

I first saw Gerard Parkes on stage in the 70's but remember him most in his role in the CBC WWII series "Homefires". Great actor and a loss to our acting community.

Gerard Parkes lived well. All the extraordinary feats he accomplished and the lives he affected will be cherished for times to come. My entire childhood holds many dear memories of Fraggle Rock. I always looked forward to seeing the "Doc" segment on the show. He was always so funny! He will greatly missed! So sorry for your loss!

A gentile soul. Ingrained in our minds and heart . Loved by so many . He seamed like such a good kind person. My children watched him and my grandchildren as well. All my respects to his family for your loss he was truly a gem of a man.
