Gerard Pigotti Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bonney Watson Funeral Home - SeaTac on Nov. 2, 2025.

Publish in a newspaper

Gerard G. Pigotti, "Gerry," passed away on October 23rd, 2025, in Seattle, Washington, at the age of 52. He was born on May 12th, 1973, in Burien, Washington, to Gilbert and Elida Pigotti. Gerry was the eldest of two children, with one younger brother named Gabriel, "Gabe." Gerry graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Burien, WA, in 1991. After high school, he attended Seattle University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree in Accounting and a minor in Mathematics in 1996. He then worked as an accountant at Arthur Andersen, followed by Westlake Associates as a commercial real estate broker. In 1998, Gerry founded a commercial real estate property management company, Gibraltar LLC.

Gerry grew up in Burien, Washington, and was a first-generation Italian Argentinian American. He was trilingual in Italian, Spanish, and English. Growing up, he was immersed in the Italian community in Burien where many treasured memories were created with his parents, brother, family, and friends. His family would frequently visit their roots and relatives in Italy and Argentina over the summers.

Gerry married Kristi Pigotti in April of 2004, in Maui, Hawai'i. During the next three years, Gerry and Kristi welcomed two sons, Gavin and Nicholas. Gerry was a proud and beaming father who loved his boys with all his heart. While Gerry was immersed in building his business, Kristi was devoted to raising their sons. Their lives were filled with the joyful and demanding nature of balancing family and work life, attending their children's academic, religious, and sport events. Gerry and Kristi also enjoyed hosting gatherings and spent time entertaining friends and family at their home in Seattle. Gerry was delighted to share his business and real estate expertise with his boys, and they loved learning from their dad, who they so admired. Throughout it all, Gerry faced the complex challenges of early-onset Parkinson's Disease. He was determined not to let it prevent him from pursuing his goals, ambitions, and passions. His courage and perseverance with Parkinson's was an inspiration to everyone, especially his sons.

When Gerry wasn't engaged in building and running a dynamic business, he developed a deep passion for golf and became an avid golfer. Gerry was also a car enthusiast throughout his life. His other hobbies included boating, traveling, making wine, go-karting, swimming, spending time at the beach, cooking and entertaining, watching movies, and simply being with his beloved family. Most of all, Gerry was a charming, intelligent, caring, and social man who enjoyed spending his time with loved ones. Gerry, Kristi, and the boys found the most peace in Hawai'i, with Gerry feeling deep comfort particularly in the ocean. It became a sacred and peaceful retreat where they created countless lasting memories with family and friends. Gerry will forever remain in our hearts and minds as a loving, kind, cordial, generous, memorable, and wonderful husband, father, son, brother, friend, nephew, family member, business partner, business associate, boss, and mentor. Gerry was admired by all his friends and family, as well as the broader business community. He will be deeply missed.

Gerry is survived by his cherished and devoted wife of 21 years, Kristi Pigotti, their two lovely sons, Gavin Pigotti and Nicholas Pigotti, and his dear mother, Elida Pigotti. He is also survived by relatives in Italy and Argentina, and the many amazing friends who he called family. Gerry is predeceased by his father, Gilbert Pigotti, and his brother, Gabriel Pigotti.

Funeral Mass Services will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 3307 W Dravus St, Seattle, WA 98199 on Wednesday, November 19th, 2025, at 10 am, followed by a reception. Burial services will be held at Bonney Watson Funeral Home in SeaTac, WA, at 2 pm.

Our deepest sympathies to Kristi, Gavin, Nick and Elida. Our boys grew up together. Gerry was a big part of that-school, sports, birthdays and fun. We will always treasure those memories. And will miss a cherished friend to us all.
