Gerarda Cupo Obituary
Gerarda "Geraldine" Cupo, 82, of Lyndhurst, passed away peacefully at home, on December 8, 2025. Born in Palomonte, Italy, she resided in Lyndhurst. Gerarda was the daughter of the late Biagio and Angela (Festa) Benevenga. She was a seamstress for Ornstein Fashions, Garfield, NJ. Gerarda is survived by her loving husband Vincenzo, her daughter Anita Cupo and her husband Armando, her son Bruno Cupo, and his partner Gail Libby, her daughter Antonella Cupo, and her partner Peter Cantillo, her brother Anthony Benevenga, her grandchildren Anna, Angelo, Rino, Vincent, Lucas and Vivian, and her great granddaughter Maria. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Vito and Sal, her sisters Filomena and Dina, and her grandson Alex
Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4-8pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:30am Holy Family Church, Nutley followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
