Geri N. Davis

Geri N. Davis passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 in Barrington. She was born on April 15, to the late Edward and Grace (nee Kirschbaum) Karlic. On April 9, 1999, she married John Landon in McHenry. Geri was the Executive Director of the Republican Party of McHenry County for over 30 years. She also served as a Precinct Committeeman in McHenry 2 for more than 30 years. She worked as a congressional aide for Phil Crane and as a senatorial aide for Dick Klemm and Pam Althoff. She was very active in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. In 2010 Geri received the "Catholic Woman of Inspiration Award". Geri was known as a big Chicago Cubs fan. Geri will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, John; and children, Mary Krein Deruiter, Faith (Scott) Brady and Donald Davis (Barbara Stuckwisch); stepson, Richard Davis; and grandchildren, Kevin Krein, Charles O'Donnell, Tyler Brady and Brittany Lech. She is further survived by her sisters, Bernadine Karlic and Constance Mosser. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Grace. Visitation will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry. Mass will be on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 3500 Washington Street, McHenry. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
