Geri Hamilton Obituary
PEKIN ~ Geraldine Eugenia “Geri” Hamilton, 80, of Pekin, passed away at 6:40 p.m. Friday, October 2, 2015 at her home.
Born June 14, 1935 in Pekin to Marion “Hooks” and Opal A. (Lowe) Tosi, she married Kenith Dale Hamilton on July 14, 1955 in Pekin. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Kent (Julie) Hamilton of Pekin; one daughter, Gia (Randy) Hild of Pekin; two grandsons, Augy Rushford and Kyle Rushford; one brother, Lyle “Buck” (Mary Lou) Tosi of Pekin; and one sister, Dianna “Tootie” (Kenneth) Luthy of Pekin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Andrew Krakos; and one son, Kyle Hamilton.
Geri was a 1953 graduate of Pekin Community High School.
A homemaker, Geri had helped her husband operate the Hamilton House and later LePub, both in Pekin.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin.
Geri enjoyed shopping and cooking with her Italian Heritage. She cherished her family.
There will be no services and cremation will be accorded.
Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 243 Derby Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
