Geri Wirth, age 83, passed away on March 8, 2025, following a brief illness.
Born in Brooklyn, New York on October 26, 1942, she was the eldest of three children to her late parents, Karl and Eleanor Wirth. She was raised in New York City, before moving to Boston in 1983.
Geri was a graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh in Plattsburgh, New York, where she earned a master's in guidance counseling, and prior, an undergraduate degree in education.
Her professional life was marked by a successful sales career. Later in her life, she transitioned to teaching for Boston Public Schools, retiring in 2023.
Geri will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her parents, her patronage of the performing arts in Boston and enjoying summers at Summer Village in Westford, MA.
In keeping with Geri's wishes, no formal services are planned.
