Germaine Bigus Obituary
Gerri was born on February 10, 1944 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Alfons and Clara (Betker) Flisick. She attended local schools, graduating from Maria High School in 1963.
Gerri married Robert "Bobby" Bigus on October, 16th, 1971 at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Although she never had children of her own, she had two very special nieces who were close to her heart, Kim Trelka and Stacy Warner.
She was a homemaker who took great pride in tending to the house her husband built for them. Later in life, she was a caretaker to the elders of her family.
Gerri was an avid animal lover, rescuing many cats and dogs throughout the years.
Gerri is survived by her sisters, Cheryl Dekay and Sandra Warner; nieces Kim (Kevin) Trelka and Stacy Warner; and great-nephews, Joshua and Nathan Bronk.
Gerri was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Bigus; brothers-in-law, larry Kezeske, Tom Dekay, and Doug Warner; parents, Alfons and Clara Flisick, and parents-in-law, Hank and Grace Bigus.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Gerri at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 26th at St. Adalbert's Church, 3315 St. Adalbert's Rd, Rosholt. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Father Mark Miller will be presiding. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Pisarski Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Bigus Family.
