Gertrude "Sis" Ames

"Auntie" Gert was my Godmother and a close friend of my mom´s back in the day. I remember her being kind, thoughtful, easy-going, and always ready to share a cheerful smile.

Sending out love to her family and friends...I know they will miss her dearly as she was such a sweet person.

To the family of Sis - especially Diane, who I have met personally - I am so saddened to hear of the passing of Sis. She sure was a great person, so kind and she was a pleasure to be around. I am happy that I was able to bring her to your home in FL before your husband passed away and sing Southie Is My Hometown for your family. Sis will be greatly missed.
