Gertrude Ellen Tardiff of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 9, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born August 2, 1942, in Long Branch, New Jersey, the daughter of George and Dora Spain Sorby. She worked as a Sales Clerk for Walmart. Gertrude lived in Mountain Home since moving from Louisana, in 2017. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed dirt track racing, all church activities and Southern Gospel music.
Gertrude is survived by her; son, Kyle (Eyvette)Tardiff; daughter, Beth (Henry) Baugh; grandchildren, Hannah, Mikayla, Morgan, Natalie, Wyatt, Harrison, Trenton Megan, Aimee and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Tardiff; siblings, George Sorby, Dora Olson, Mary Abrahms, Pat Kerr and Barbara Roth.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:00 am at First Assembly of God Church, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to First Assembly of God Church, 710 Bradley Drive, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Gertrude's final resting place will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
