Gertrude L. Tellock Raguse

Gertrude Lillian (Loehrke) Tellock Raguse, age 100, of Larsen, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Golden Years Oasis in Winneconne. She was born on August 20, 1925 in the Town of Saxeville, WI, the daughter of William and Olga (Wegner) Loehrke. Gertie attended school at a one room school house in Pine River with very few amenities(no school lunch and an old heater). On June 26, 1953 Gertie married Arden Tellock, and together they had two sons, Robert and James. Arden preceded her in death on January 13, 1971. She later married Willis Raguse on June 27, 1975 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2008. Gertie enjoyed many vacations that spanned from west coast to east coast. She also loved gardening and working the family farm, as well as spending many years helping her brother "Shorty" Eldor and nephew Mike at Loehrke's Farm Market in Winchester. Gertie was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Larsen for over 75 years.
Gertie loved her family very much and she wanted everyone to hold their family and friends close!
Gertie is survived by her two beloved sons, Robert "Bob"(Special friend, Diane Thom) Tellock, and James (Mona) Tellock; four grandchildren, Donald (Richelle) Tellock, Henry (Amy) Tellock; Missy (Special friend, James Yurs) Tellock, and Sadie Jo (Jason) Allmers; her great-grandchildren, Cody, Clara, Makenna, Chloe and Ashtin; her sister-in-law, Betty Loehrke; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends..
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, Arden and Willis, and her siblings, Elmer(Velda), Ruth(Paul)Timm, Marian(Marvin)Kempf, Norman(Lucinda), Herb, Vernon(Delores), Eldor(Eileen) and Robert(Alice).
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Lewin Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., Fremont. Rev. Paul Ibisch will officiate. Visitation will be held at Lewin Funeral Home on Thursday, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Private family inurnment will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Boom Bay. A memorial fund has been established for St. Peter Lutheran Church in Larsen.
Gertie's family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at Golden Years Oasis,as well as the nurses with Preceptor Hospice for all of the wonderful care she received during her time there. It did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated.
