We never met. You called me after Christmas thanking me for the ornament I made for you. I only knew you through the phone. My heart broke today when I was told. I pray for peace for your family and friends. Knowing you were truly loved by all the lives you touched. Both directly and indirectly.

My sincere condolences go out to David, my student of forty-four years ago. Dave was fortunate to have had wonderful parents, steady and conventional at a time in America when everything was in social upheaval, testing traditional systems. Dave was a calm and poised young man amid all that chaos, and he has his parents to thank for it. Apples don't fall too far from the tree, even in the windstorms of social change. Dave had his parents for a long, long time and must be grateful for that as he faces their loss.

With sincere sympathy to May's family. She was a good friend and will be truly missed. I have many fond memories of May and Jim, especially the special times my husband Paul and I shared with them vacationing on "Nettle's Island" in Florida. It has been a pleasure knowing May throughout the years working at NCH and our continued friendship in retirement. We share in your sorrow

May was one of my best friends. We talked every day on the phone even when she was in Virginia and I was in Florida. I will miss her very much. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family. I love you May and may you rest in peace.

May (Mayze), a beautiful child of God, will now be numbered among the angels in heaven. May and our mom, Mary Lou, worked together at Newington Children's Hospital and were such great friends. I loved having conversations with May both in person and on the phone. It is very easy to see why her children, David and Judie, are such wonderful people. May and her husband Jim were great parents. Heaven is aquiring a new, beautiful angel and her name is Gertrude "May" Watt.
