Gertrude (Trudie) Keith Wilson, passed away peacefully in Barnstead, New Hampshire on October 4th, 2025 with family by her side. Born in Ballindalloch Scottland, on September 18th, 1934, to Alexander (Sandy) Keith and Gertrude Keith. Trudie was preceded in death by her husband William Wilson and her two sisters; Christine Riddle and Frances Montemorra.
Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion and her unwavering faith in God. Trudie loved her family and community. She lived in her beloved town of Pine Plains for over 50 years. She was a member and elder of the Pine Plains Presbyterian Church for over 40 years, where she helped with food preparation, the bazar and the rummage sale. She loved to play cards with her circle of ladies and was a member of the Pine Plains garden club. She enjoyed all types of crafts, knitting, embroidering, flower arrangements and diamond art. She especially loved giving her crafts to loved ones and also enjoyed doing them with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved also playing cards with her family, where she would beat everyone. Family and friends were always first in her life and was very giving and loving to all. There was not a selfish bone in her body. She may have been small in structure but big in heart.
Trudie is survived by her children; Deborah Coburn of Center Barnstead, NH, Doreen O’Sullivan of Ancramdale, NY, William Wilson of Carolina,RI and George Wilson of Gallatin, NY. Grandchildren Sarah Wilson,TN, Chauncy Wilson, NY, Shawn O’Sullivan, NY and Kyler Wilson, RI Great Grandchildren Kydin Wilson, TN, Gaby O’Sullivan, NY, Addie Wilson, NY and Tenley Wilson, NY. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends and community.
Graveside services will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery in Pine Plains.
