He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Sahar (Kushal) and Sara (Mike); their mother, Nahid; and his cherished grandchildren.
Ghodrat was known for his kind heart, wonderful sense of humor, and love of good food and meaningful conversation. He brought joy and laughter to those around him and lived with deep curiosity and appreciation for life.
He grew up in Tehran and later made his home abroad. In his younger years, he played professional soccer, reflecting his lifelong passion and dedication to the sport.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Private family services have been held. Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Naperville, was entrusted with arrangements.
