Dear Judy and family: I was very sorry to hear of Gil's death. What a stressful time of transition for you. Long ago when we were young adults, Gil and I worked in behalf of the RI Young Republicans. I don't know how long Gil remained active in politics, but he gave a lot of energy to that endeavor and we all held him in high regard. It is sad to learn of his passing. In sympathy, David Griswold

Maybe it was that we were both born in Brooklyn, or Associates in the Carlson Wagonlit Network family, or just two guys who became friends. Gil made me feel as if I have known him all my life. He will surely be missed. Pat and I send our heartfelt sympathy to Judy and family.

Dear Judy & Family,

My family and I were very sorry to hear about Gil's passing. He always had so much energy and enthusiam, and most of all a great positive outlook on everything. I feel privelegded to not only have known him, but to have him as my boss for three years. He was always kind to not only me, but to my girls when they would come in and visit. My condolences and prayers go out to you and your family at this difficult time. To the girls at Donovan in East Greenwich, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. I know the office must seem strange without his presence, but he'll always be there in spirit.

Love and miss you all.

I consider it a priviledge to have known Gil through the Carlson family for many years. He was indeed a professional and always maintained a positive outlook. His smile, his warmth, and his upbeat attitude are things we all can aspire to. His presence in the Carlson family and at Carlson functions will be missed, but his influence and memory will remain.

The Meetings and Training team at Carlson Wagonlit Travel has had the pleasure of working with Gil and Judy and their staff for many years. We loved Gil's enthusiasm for his business and life in general. I was so excited when we called Gil and Judy's names as our Associate of the Year during our national meeting two years ago. They were so deserving of the award. He exemplified the business person who many wish to be -- a leader with great integrity who cared about his team and family and continued to intelligently build his business. We will miss Gil deeply in our network!

Our Deepest Sympathy:

Ecclesiates 3:1-8

For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;

A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones together; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to seek, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to cast away;

A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;

A time to love, And a time to hate; A time for war, And a time for peace.

We are thinking about you during this difficult time.
