Gilbert Pineda

We did many a federal audit together. I remember 1 yr. I was very sick with a cold but knew we needed to get it done. Mr. Pineda told me I should go to bed. I refused so he went out and bought a bunch of cold medicine to ease my suffering. That's just the kind of man he was. Always so kind!!!

Besides being a wonderful and caring individual he was the ultimate professional. His work was outstanding! I loved doing federal audits with Gilbert. He taught me so much. I will always be grateful for his kindness and diligence.

A wonderfully kind and generous man who will always be someone we will remember fondly. We pray for peace for all his loved ones.

Gilbert was my parents', Lily and Orlando Gutierrez, longtime accountant and friend. My Mom, a national immigrant advocate, chose her friends wisely - Gilbert was one of those people. He also did my sister's taxes without charge - a nod to his principled life. Our love to Gilbert's family. We will miss you.

Gilbert was a terrific person with a wonderful perspective on life; he was a very dear and close friend of my father.They shared many laughs and accounting adventures; Gilbert will be missed and left many of us with smiles about him. My best condolences and thoughts to his loved ones.

My condolences to the Pineda Family. I had the pleasure of meeting Gilbert in 1984 when I worked with Attorneys, Kathy, Cardone, Robert Duran, Ricardo Herrera, and Ernesto Pineda on Texas Avenue. Gilbert was my teacher with our new computer system and was always there when I had questions etc. I am glad I was able to see him on some of my visits to El Paso when I would stop in to see Gilbert and Lourdes Palacio. I will always remember his laugh and sense of humor.
