Gina Mae Marinari, 39, of Voorhees, New Jersey, formerly of Atco and Franklinville, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Born on January 23, 1986, in Camden, New Jersey, Gina was a vibrant soul known for her infectious laughter and unwavering dedication to her loved ones.
Gina was a proud graduate of Delsea Regional High School and later earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Stockton University. Her professional journey was marked by her caring nature as she worked diligently as a phlebotomist, an oral and maxillofacial surgical assistant, and a medical assistant. Her work ethic was unmatched, having entered the workforce at the tender age of 14, and she continued to be a hardworking and dedicated professional throughout her life.
Family was the cornerstone of Gina's world. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Gia Marie Ferranti, the light of her life, and Gia's father, Giacomo. Her loving father, Tony Marinari, and his fiancée, Elizabeth Lawler, her devoted sister, Dana Marinari, and her adored niece, Deanna Lupton, daughter of Chester, will hold her memory dear. Gina's grandmother, Theresa Wallet, her aunt and godmother, Carol Sassani, and her uncles, Ralph Lusi and Carl Marinari along with his wife Dawn, are among the many family members who will forever feel the absence of her bright spirit. Gina was predeceased by her mother, Deanna Marinari, her uncle and godfather, Leo Sassani, her aunt, Linda Wagner, her cousins, Ralphie Lusi and Joe Wagner and her grandfather, Michael Wallet.
Gina's zest for life was evident in her many passions. As a child, she excelled in competitive cheerleading and later found immense joy in coaching her daughter's cheerleading team. Her bond with her sister, Dana, was unbreakable; together, they shared countless adventures, from vacations to cherished trips to the shore, with Ocean City and Wildwood holding special places in their hearts. The beach was Gina's sanctuary, a place where she felt most at peace.
Gina relished the experience of trying new restaurants and savoring different cuisines. She was an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies.
Above all, Gina was a beacon of laughter and joy. Her sense of humor was contagious, and she was often described as the life of the party. Her friends and family knew her as a hilarious and hysterical presence, always ready with a joke to lighten the mood.
