Ginger Ridgeway, age 62, passed away at her home in Courtland, Mississippi on December 25, 2025.
In remembrance of Ginger’s life, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 29, 2025 in the Martin Willingham Memorial Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
Ginger was born on November 18, 1963, in Batesville, Mississippi to the late William Jewel Tutor and Nellie Mavis Tims Tutor. She dedicated many years of her life to her work as a bookkeeper at Easy Cash. Beyond her professional life, she was known for her loving and giving personality. A natural caretaker, Ginger was always ready to welcome family and friends into her home, ensuring they never left hungry and were covered in warmth.
Her devotion extended deeply to her family. Ginger was a proud grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her five precious grandchildren: Colby Griffith, Connor Ridgeway, Cameron Ridgeway, Cohen Cole, and Hayden Ridgeway. They brought her immense joy and were a focal point in her life.
Ginger is survived by her loving husband, Barry Ridgeway of Courtland, MS. She leaves behind three children: Corey Ridgeway of Batesville, MS, Barry Ridgeway, Jr. of Gulfport, MS, and Courtney Ridgeway of Courtland, MS. Additionally, she will be missed by her six siblings: Bobby Tutor of Hernando, MS, Danny Tutor of Batesville, MS, Ronnie Tutor of Batesville, MS, Rita Cook of Batesville, MS, Diana Cook of Courtland, MS, and Tony Tutor of Batesville, MS.
Her devotion extended deeply to her family. Ginger was a proud grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her five precious grandchildren: Colby Griffith, Connor Ridgeway, Cameron Ridgeway, Cohen Cole, and Hayden Ridgeway. They brought her immense joy and were a focal point in her life.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Tutor, Bonnie Daugherty, Doug Tutor, Sr., Sherry Darby, David Tutor, and Myra Wright.
Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she took pride in being a Christian. Ginger will be remembered as a beloved wife, caring mother, a doting grandmother, a sister, and friend to many.
