Gino Celli

Gino Celli, a resident of Fishkill, NY for the past six years, passed away on January 13, 2026. He was 77 years old.

Gino was born on January 5, 1949, in Ripi, Italy, the beloved son of the late Vincenzo and Linda (Recine) Celli. On August 2, 1969, in Ripi, Italy, he married the love of his life, Fernanda (Bauco). Later that year, Gino immigrated to the United States, to begin a new chapter with his new wife, Fernanda, as she immigrated from Brazil in 1966, Together, they built a family and realized their dreams through hard work, and devotion.

Above all else, Gino was a devoted family man. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by those he loved most. He cherished time spent with his wife, sons, and grandchildren, and was always happiest when his family was together. Gino was known for his warm heart, steady presence, and deep pride in his children and grandchildren.

In his leisure time, Gino enjoyed playing cards with friends and was an avid bocce player, hobbies that reflected his love of companionship, laughter, and tradition.

Gino is survived by his loving wife, Fernanda Celli; his sons, Gino Celli Jr. and his wife Maritza, and Lucio Celli; and his adored grandchildren, Annapia and Giovanni Celli. He is also survived by his brother, Enrico Celli; his nephew, Piro Celli; and his niece, Federica Celli. In addition to his parents, Gino was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Antoinetta Celli.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Entombment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
