I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I was very fond of him and loved his quick wit, and sense of humor. He was such a wonderful man. I'm so sorry I did not make it to the funeral home. I just saw it today in the Hatcher Herald. Jerry, Max and I taught first grade Sunday school there many years ago. I know his love and deep spiritual devotion touched many.

MR DELANO WAS SUCH A KIND SOUL. WE CAME TO KNOW HIM AT THE STATE FARM OFFICE WHERE WE WORK. WE ALWAYS ENJOYED HIS VISITS AND OUR TALKS. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.

Mr. "D" was the voice of direction for many drivers in the Henrico County Pupil Transportation group. He will be missed by many of us and remembered with smiles by most of us. Polly Akers, Zone 5.
