Gisela A. Tibble

Gisela Anna Tibble, age 96 of Clyde Twp., passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on October 21, 2025. She was born in Berlin, Germany to the late Lucie and Otto Hoelzer on December 31, 1928.
She married William F. Tibble on July 3, 1948, in Croswell, Michigan. They shared many wonderful years together before his passing on August 21, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her, step-father, Hugo Heine.
Gisela worked for many years as a waitress at the Dorsey House. She was a member of the Port Huron McLaren Auxiliary for 31 plus years, where she loved volunteering and made many lifelong friendships. She was also a member of the Ruby Lioness. She especially loved being outdoors, working on her flower beds and gardens. She enjoyed hosting family gatherings and going out to lunch and dinner with all her friends and her German friends, as well. She liked going on casino bus trips and relaxing on her porch swing. She thoroughly enjoyed her Sunday morning get-togethers with her lifelong friend and neighbor, Sherry Beiser, whom she considered as family.
She is survived by her daughter, Barb Tibble, two sons; Jerry (Carol) Tibble, and Ken (Ann) Tibble, four grandchildren; Carly (Brian) Connelly, Justin (Patty) Tibble, Lyndsey (Nate) Reid, and Ryan (Kaitlin) Tibble, five great-grandchildren; Candi Tibble, Brendan Connelly, Delanie Connelly, Ben Reid, and Collin Reid, two step-grandchildren; Jen Smith, Kim (Jeff) Lay and three step-great grandchildren; Logan Nichols, Lacey Lay, and Mackenzie Nichols. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many great friends. She will be deeply and thoroughly missed by her family and by all the lives she touched with her heart.
Her memory will forever bloom in the hearts of those who loved her, just like the flowers she so carefully tended.
Graveside services will take place on Monday – October 27, 2025 at 12:00pm at the Ruby Cemetery. Kathy Mason McPhail will officiate.
