Giuseppa Bove

BOVE, GIUSEPPA passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27th, 2026, at the age of 78, Giuseppa will be remembered for her warmth, culinary talent, and vibrant spirit.

Born on Thursday, June 5th, 1947, in Alvito Frosinone, Italy, Giuseppa immigrated to the United States, where she built a life rooted in love, family, and community. She was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Gaetano and Lucia Capoccia, and her beloved husband, Clemente Bove. Her legacy continues through her daughters Franca (Donald) Faustyn and Daena (Carlo) Riccobono, who will forever hold her memory dear along with her grandchildren Tyler, Hannah, Rosie and Monica and sister Maria (Nino) Brusca.

Giuseppa was renowned for her incredible skill in the kitchen. For many years, she joyfully shared her culinary gifts as a cook at the Venetian Club in Madison Heights, assembling feasts that brought people together over her unparalleled meatballs and pasta. Her passion for food fed not just appetites but also the hearts of all who gathered around her table.

In addition to her domestic triumphs, Giuseppa was a dedicated member of several organizations. Her devotion to family extended into her community service as a valued member of the Madonna del Campo Society. Her competitive spirit shone brightly at the Italian American Cultural Center, where she was a past senior league bocce ball champion. Giuseppa could often be found tending to her garden or enjoying a spirited game of cards with friends, embracing life with a warmth and generosity that will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, March 5, 2026 with Instate at 11:30am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church 54045 Schoenherr (btw. 24 & 25 Mile Rds.) until time of Mass at 12:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Giuseppa's joyful spirit and loving nature leave behind a legacy that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her memory will forever be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
