John, Frank & Anthony,

I have so many fond memories of your father. What I will remember the most is how he treated me like one of his own children and genuinely caring about my success in life. He always had great "real world" advice on life and I respected his wisdom. Like my own father, he had the ability to put you in your place, no matter how intelligent, or successful, you may have thought you were. I loved listening to the stories he would tell of his childhood in Croatia (Yugoslavia) and how much he enjoyed being out on the ocean.

I remember him for the Grapa (hope I spelled that right), the home made wine, how he ALWAYS made fun of how much I ate (the veal cutlet sandwiches story is classic), how he liked to be with his family and loved his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. And, especially for how much he loved your mother. He knew that she was the glue that kept everything together.

It was my greatest privilege to have been able to help him with his smile.

Please accept and extend our condolences to your entire family and know that "Cochise" is in our thought, prayers and memories.

God Bless you all.

Love,

Michael & Debbie Maroon & family
