Gladys Bleistein Obituary
Born Sunday, March 7, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys Murphy.
Gladys was the devoted wife of 56 years to to her late husband Charles who passed in 2020.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She lived for her family. Gladys loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her children William (Christine), Linda Ann Simonetti (Anthony), Elizabeth Bleistein, (Numan Ejaz) and Tara Tomaskovic (John). Dear sister to the late Corinne Buda and Linda Ann Murphy. Cherished grandmother to Billy, Charles, Carlos, Katherine, Amanda, Albert, and Nico.
Loving Great Great Aunt to Isabella and Mia.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday at The John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals, Inc. located at 28 Eltingville Blvd. (at Eltingville Station) Staten Island, New York 10312. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
