96, passed away on Saturday evening, on November 22, 2025 at the Stillwater Skilled Nursing home in Greenville RI, with her loved ones by her side.
Born in Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. Fay of Providence, and Alice M. (St.Lawrence) Fay, of Fall River MA. She was the sister of the late Francis “Sonny” J. Fay, and Lillian Catherine (Fay) Barden-Papcke. She was also the former wife of the late, Joseph J. Boreiko Sr. of Cranston RI.
She is survived by her children, Alison (Boreiko) Hanson of Chepachet, Joseph J. Boreiko and Deborah M. (Boreiko) Fuller of Florida.
Gladys worked for a Berkander Manufacturing in the south side of Providence. She worked in the shipping department for many years. She also worked at Kmart at night for 22 years, working both jobs at the same time. She loved being outside in her garden and most of all, loved spending time with her grandkids.
Her funeral services will be private, per her request.
