Gladys Marie Galloway

Ms. Gladys Marie Galloway, age 83, of Vernon, Florida passed away June 15, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born October 13, 1941, in Holmes County, Florida to the late Walter Benjamin Cooper and Catherine Thomley Cooper. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Abbie Galloway, two children, Debbie Galloway Daniels and Willie Keith Galloway, and four siblings, Edna Carnley, Jerry Cooper, Clinton Cooper, and Lettie Collins.
Ms. Galloway is survived by five children, Cynthia Simpson, Kevin Galloway and wife Stephanie, Tanya Bell and husband Monroe, Amanda Rhodes, and Shaun Rhodes and wife Amanda; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Vitana Gordon and Tom Masaitas; two brothers, LeRoy Cooper and wife Bonnie and Leon Cooper; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, 2430 Shakey Joe Road, Caryville, FL. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.
