Sacramento, California - Gladys passed away peacefully Monday June 2, 2025 in Sacramento at the age of 91.
She was born in Sacramento on November 25,1933 to Parents Gebhardt and Esther Kessler.
Gladys is survived by her sister Virginia, Brother John Kessler (Kathy), Grandson Beau Parkhurst (Van), Great Grandson Rhett, and Sister in Law Charleen Kessler. As well as many loving Nieces and Nephews.
Gladys is preceded in death by her Husband Earl Parkhurst, Father Gebhardt, Mother Esther, Son Russell and Brother Jim.
After Graduating from CK McClatchy High School in 1951, Gladys went to work at PG&E where she met her future husband Earl.
Gladys was a devoted wife and Mother with a strong sense of humor. She was passionate about Music, Especially Neil Young.
Funeral Services will be held June 23rd at 10 a.m. at George L Klumpp Chapel of Flowers at 2691 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA. 95818.
Friends and Family are invited to Attend, Internment will be directly after at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Reception to follow.
