Glen “Boomer” Grau, age 74, of Mason, Ohio, passed away on February 14, 2025. He was born on May 30, 1950, to the late Walter and Betty Grau in Hamilton, Ohio. Boomer was known for his passion for bowling and golf, often spending his leisure time engaged in these activities. A devoted sports enthusiast, he enjoyed supporting Ohio State Football, as well as cheering for the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. His commitment to the community was evident through his strong support of Mason Athletics, reflecting his dedication to local sports. Boomer was a fixture in the Mason community. He had his normal spots to hang out over the course of every week. You may have seen him in Bob and Gary’s Barber Shop, Mason Bowl, where was an avid bowler, Quatman’s Café, Big Dogs Pizza and the American Legion Post 194 where he was a proud lifetime member, illustrating his dedication to service and camaraderie. A visitation will be held at Mueller Funeral Home, located at 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM, followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM. He will be laid to rest at St. Pete & Paul Cemetery in Reading, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peoples First Savings Bank, 225 Reading Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 C/O Mason High School Athletic Department in Boomer's memory.
