Dr. Glen Everett Eaton

Dr. Glen Everett Eaton, 87, of Salina, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015. He was born June 26, 1928 on a farm in Logan County, KS, to Benjamin Everett and Velma Frances (Miller) Eaton. Dr. Eaton and the love of his life, Pauline Lorrine Jennings were married February 3, 1950 in Hunter, KS. Dr. Eaton graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1950 and from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine in 1954. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology in Wichita, KS, in 1957. After serving in the Navy from 1957-1959, Dr. Eaton moved back to Salina and provided anesthesiology services in Salina for 30 years. He also served as a Trustee at Kansas Wesleyan University, and was a member of the Central Kansas Amateur Radio Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Edward Eaton; two brothers, Roy and Gale Eaton; and three sisters, Lila Huffman, Letha Bode, and Dorthy Potterf. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Pauline, of the home; a daughter, Dr. Karen Eaton Garth and her husband John of Henderson, NV; two sons, Denis Everett Eaton and his wife Monica of Antioch, CA, and Steven Glen Eaton and his wife Linda of Sunnyvale, CA; and two grandchildren, Eric Michael Eaton and Julie Ann Eaton, of Sunnyvale, CA. There will be no public services for Dr. Eaton, per his and his family's wishes.
