Glen Foster, Sr.

Glen M. Foster, Sr., age 85, passed away at his home on February 11, 2026.

Glen was an employee for the Town of Abingdon, VA, for many decades before his retirement. He owned and operated Foster Services Unlimited and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Glen is survived by his three children, Glen M. Foster, Jr. (Binky), Selena C. Foster, and Chandler M. Foster; his sister, Rose Marie Lampkins; Teresa Gilmer, Chandler's mother; four grandchildren, Latoya Millet, Ron Groves, Nick Groves, and Andrew Groves; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, James A. and Mary R. Foster; his wife, Anna W. Foster; eleven siblings; and several cousins.

Glen was a kind person who touched many lives. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, P.O. Box 183, Emory, VA.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service.
