It Is with tears in our eyes and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Glen D. Grillo 10/10/1963-1/22/2026. Beloved father, son, brother, and friend. Glen Is survived by his two sons Joseph Brostek and Vincent Grillo. His three siblings William Grillo (Bea), Joanne Dodson (the late Tom) and Stephan Grillo (Natalie). Glen is also the proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Glen was predeceased by his parents, William and Sabina Grillo as well as his niece Christine Brucculeri. Glen grew up in Melville Long Island. He was a true jack of all trades he had a passion for home improvements and remodeling kitchens and bathrooms he took great pride in his work. Glen also had a true passion for cooking and took pride and of course pictures of all his masterpieces.
Glen loved his family and especially all the family get togethers which sometimes turned into a competition to see who could master his mother ‘s recipes the best!!! Glen also valued all his friends some of whom he had been friends with since he was in elementary school and junior high and he was always proud to say how many years they have all been friends. I would love to be able to name them all but there was just too many, he was very proud and grateful to have been friends with them all for all these years. I know Glen would want me to mention a friendship that meant a lot to him Glen was not only their friend, but they considered Glen to be family and that would be Dr. Imran Asgnar Barlas his wife Adeela and their son Dr. Ali Barlas and Daughter Sofia. Glen was very grateful for their friendship and the way they accepted Glen into their family as you can see Glen was a true friend to many.
He also leaves behind another true angel who cared very much for Glen and took care of him when he was not feeling well and that is Elizabeth Horvath, I’m sure he would like to say thank you for taking care of him…and last but not least Glen leaves behind his beloved four-legged best friend Minny his chihuahua.
Glen left a lasting impression on everybody with his good nature, his honesty, and of course, his sense of humor. In closing I’m sure Glen would want to say Thank You to Everyone for All the Love, Laughter, Tears and Memories he shared with Everyone ♥
