Glen Donald King

Glen Donald King, age 85, of Colcord, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Bella Vista. Glen was born on August 20, 1939, in Black Fork, Arkansas. On July 14, 1961, he married the love of his life, Frances Sue Cowan, in Heavener, Oklahoma. He spent 37 and a half years working for Webb Wheel, where he was known for his work ethic and commitment. Outside of work, Glen was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in fishing, hunting, and sharing stories. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Above all, Glen loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances King; his daughter, Cathy King; his father, Frank King; his mother, Lou Belle King; his sister, Mary Lou King; three brothers, Frank King Jr., Bill King, and Paul King.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Cash of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two sons, Eric King of Colcord, Oklahoma, and Chris King of Bentonville, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Ben King of Colcord, Oklahoma, Hause Brueckner of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Hannah Arellano of Baja, Mexico, Ryan King of Phoenix, Arizona, Cody Cash of Bella Vista, Arkansas, and Megan Cash of Bella Vista, Arkansas; ten great grandchildren; his brother, John King of Heavener, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.
A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Wasson Funeral Home with a committal service to follow at Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Colcord, Oklahoma.
