Glen Dale May

Mr. Glen Dale May, age 68, of Mena, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012 in Hot Springs. He was born January 6, 1944 in Mena, Arkansas to the late Harvey Glen May and the late Effie Barton May. He was united in marriage to Trudy Helms May. He was in Poultry Maintenance and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. May also served his country proudly in the United States Navy. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He is survived by: Wife: Trudy May of the home Son: Brian Lee May and wife Nancy of Mena, Arkansas Daughters: Loretta Jewell and husband Ronnie of Cove, Arkansas Sherry Sullivan and husband James of Hatfield, Arkansas Mary Willis and husband Steve of Hatfield, Arkansas Cynthia May of Hatfield, Arkansas Mary Ann of Oregon Brother: Larry May and wife Joyce of Mena, Arkansas 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Effie May and by 2 sisters, Betty Deer and Linda Wilcox. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Mena with Brother Donnie Jewell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be general. Pallbearers are Brian May, Ronnie Jewell, James Sullivan, Chance Allen, Stevie Willis and Larry Hall. Honorary pallbearer is Mary Willis.
