Glen Alan Scheer was born in Birmingham, Alabama on April 21, 1950 to parents Kermit A. and Dorothy Orr Scheer. Glen peacefully passed on Friday, June 28, 2024 at the age of 74. Glen was a loving husband who cared deeply about his wife and family and was a proud Veteran of the US Army.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents and infant son David Alan Scheer. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kathy Ramsey Scheer and her family which includes Kathy's dearly loved parents, Ray and Stella Ramsey; his brother and sister-in-law Kerry and Cathy Scheer and their family; and brother and sister-in-law Carl and Tobye Scheer and their family.
A closed casket visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, TX. A brief military graveside service will be held Friday, July 12 promptly at 10:15 am at the National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX (a 10 am arrival time is recommended). In lieu of flowers, please hug a veteran and thank him or her for their service.
