Glenda (Glore) Adams

    Glenda (Glore) Adams, born on October 4, 1933, peacefully passed away on December 1, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support for her family. Known for her caring nature and selflessness, Glenda always made it a priority to put others before herself, endearing her to those who had the privilege of knowing her.

    A devoted wife, Glenda was united in marriage to Albert "Bud" Adams on February 16, 1953. Together, they shared 45 wonderful years filled with love until Bud’s passing on July 27, 1998. Their union was a testament to commitment and partnership, and they raised their children in a nurturing environment that emphasized the importance of family. Glenda’s pride as a mother and grandmother was evident to all, and she cherished her role in their lives above all else.

    She is survived by two sons: Steve Adams and wife Shelly and Jeffrey Adams, of Jefferson City, MO. Glenda was a beloved grandmother to her grandchildren, Stephanie Estel and husband Jason, Stacie Wolf and husband Andy, and Risley Adams, who brought joy and fulfillment to her later years. She adored her great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Madeline, Eleanor Estel, Carter, Hudson, and Elliot Wolf, who were the lights of her life. Glenda will also be lovingly remembered by her brother, Perry Glore of Saint Peters, MO, and her sister-in-law, Ruth Glore in addition to many other relatives, and dear and special friends.

    Her passing leaves a profound void, as she was preceded in death by her parents, Lisborn and Norine (Goodnight) Glore, her cherished husband Albert "Bud" Adams, and her siblings—sisters Betty (Raymond) Becker and Mary (Edwin) Root, along with brothers Bob and wife Lorene and Larry Glore, father and mother-in-law, Edward and Ann Adams, brother and sister-in-law, Richard “Bose” Province and wife Betty, nephew, Richard “Dick” Province in addition to her companion of 42 years, Jose, her Amazon Yellow Headed Parrot.

    A former resident of Dixon, Missouri, Glenda led a fulfilling life where family was everything to her. She took great joy in spending her time outdoors, enjoying yard work and cultivating beautiful flowers. In addition, she had a passion for traveling, creating fond memories that she cherished dearly.

    As we remember Glenda, we celebrate the loving spirit she shared with everyone around her—a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends
