Glenda was born in Macon, MO to Harry Anspauch and Goldie M Davis Anspauch on November 7, 1936.

Glenda married Sgt. First Class Robert A. Anspach at the Zion Lutheran Church in Macon, MO on January 2, 1955. The couple had several duty stations to include Germany, Colorado, Kansas, California, and Ft. Bragg, NC where Sgt Anspach joined the 5th Special Forces Group. Glenda was widowed when MSGT Anspach was reported Missing in Action to later be identified as Killed in Action and Body Not Recovered on September 11, 1967. She remained in the Fayetteville area, in the same neighborhood that the family was in when her husband and the children's father had lived when he left for Vietnam. She hoped and prayed for his return but passed away on September 19, 2025 while continuing to wait on his return.

Glenda was a loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and church member. She played an active role in the lives of her family. Glenda was an active member of her church, Cliffdale Christian Center, where she was the longest attending and beloved parishioner.

Glenda was a businesswoman. She was an owner of the local company, House of Stone. She also created a jewelry business, Glenda's Jewely Creations where she designed, created, and manufactured natural and manufactured stones for various jewelry pieces which she sold in various settings. She made many pieces specifically for friends who greatly appreciated them.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her youngest son, Michael, who died in 1988 on the Cape Fear River.

Glenda is survived by her remaining children, Gregory Anspach of Raeford, NC, Kasandra Anspach-Sportsman of Fayetteville, NC, and Cynthia Baucom (Clyde Hall) of Fayetteville, NC. She also leaves behind her 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will occur on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 1 PM at Cliffdale Christian Center, 6427 Cliffdale Rd, Fayetteville, NC. Burial will occur at 3 PM at Lafayette Memorial Park on Raeford Rd/Hwy 401.
