Mrs. Glenda Wyvonne Cottrell

She was born on May 22, 1945 in Littlefield, Texas. She was the youngest of to children born to James O. Byrd and Maxine Lue Ellen Tomlinson. She came to the Metroplex in 1973, her work career started as a butcher and then to a banker until her retirement in August of 2003. Glenda liked antique shopping and was a serious collector of bears and Mickey Mouse memorabillia. Survivors include her mother, Maxine Byrd of Grand Prairie, TX; Children, Darrell and his wife Teresa Mauldin of Hurst, TX; Christy Mauldine and husband Donnie Boyette of Euless, TX; Linda and her husband Brian Snow of Euless, TX; and David Lee and his wife Julie Cottrell of Bedford, TX; Grandsons, David Lee III, Michael Don, Johnathan Edward, Ian Glenn, Ryan Thomas and Jacob Wayne; granddaughter, Stephanie Patiance, and her husband and soul-mate of 29 years, David Lee Cottrell, Sr. "God has a new red-headed angel, and I have lost mine."
