Glenda Rose Kuhn-Banner, age 85 of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Enclave of Cambridge (Red Carpet). She was born on March 23, 1940 at home in Lewisville, a daughter of the late James Forrest Smith and Melissa Ethel (Orange) Smith.

Glenda was a mother and homemaker early on, raising her six children. After the children were grown, she worked many years as an office assistant for County Coins. She was a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ and enjoyed playing bingo, putting jigsaw puzzles together watching the Cleveland Guardians, the Ohio State Buckeyes. She adored all six of her children and their families and her Yorkie dog Emmie.

Mrs. Banner is preceded in death by: her parents Forrest and Melissa Smith; the father of her children Paul L. Kuhn, her husband William K. Banner; a son Monty L. Kuhn; a brother Marlin "Jim" (& wife Martha) Smith; and her lifelong friend Margaret Shivers.

Surviving are: children, Ryan D. Carpenter, Sharon Kuhn (& Kenny) Matthews, Kurt (& Marcy) Carpenter, Susan Kuhn Gang and Jamie Kuhn; daughter-in-law Julia Kuhn, siblings, Bernard (& Beverly) Smith, Erma (& Jim) Lanier; grandchildren, Taylor Matthews, Derek (& Andrea) Matthews, Ryan S. Carpenter, Emily McMillen and Colin Archer; great grandchildren, Olivia Matthews, Avery Matthews and Brady Matthews; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at Red Carpet for the loving care they gave.

Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm with the service to begin at 1 pm. Woody Biggs will officiate with burial to follow in Northwood Cemetery. Glenda's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com.
