Glenda Jean Ray, 71, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Glenda was born on February 1, 1955, in Chula Vista, California, the daughter of Glen and Mildred Hope (Langston) Hembree. On May 26, 1973, Glenda married David Allen Ray in Heavener, Oklahoma. They were happily married for fifty-two years. Glenda was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband David of the home; son; Scott Ray of Eufaula, Ok., daughter Carrie Ray Parish and husband Andy of Eufaula; brother Steve Hembree and wife Donna of Heavener; grandchildren Taylor Armendariz and husband Zach, Luke Parish and wife Desirae, Jacob Parish and fiance Bailey Todd and Finleigh Parish all of Eufaula; great grandchildren Averie and Asher Armendariz; nephews Jake Hembree and wife Autumn, Sam Hembree and wife Lindsey; great nephew; Charley Hembree; nieces; Ava, Paisley and Harper Hembree.
She is preceded in death by her daughter; Christie Ray, her parents; Glen and Hope Hembree and a special aunt, Corky Cranfield.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in honor of Glenda to be made to the following charities: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital In Memory of Hudson; 332 N Lauderdale Memphis, TN 38105 or to The Hudson Strong Memorial Fund 323 1/2 E Carl Albert Parkway, McAlester, Ok 74501.
