Glenda Helen Stone, age 75 of Plainville, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.
Glenda was born on July 23, 1950 in Heartland, Maine, daughter of the late Glendon Joseph Thibodeau and Helen Bradford Thibodeau. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Troy Dean Stone; two sons, Eric Stone and Rocky Stone; and brother, Glendon Thibodeau. Glenda loved her job as a Registered Nurse and worked for hospitals in Calhoun, Dalton, and Rome. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and enjoyed eating at Longhorn Steakhouse.
Glenda is survived by: one son, Troy L. Stone; two daughters, Tia Hines and her husband Barry and Talesha Domingo; five grandchildren, Colby Stone, Lucas Stone, Raelyn Stone, Ryder Stone, and Brook (John) Kimsey; two brothers, Richie Thibodeau and his wife Henrietta and Dennie Thibodeau; and two sisters, Patsy Edmonds and Lori Hubbard and her husband Ken.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 3 PM until 8 PM at Thomas Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Stone and Reverend Edgar Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery of Ludville.
