Glenice Foyce Feimster Jr., age 88, passed away on July 18, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Born January 20, 1936, in Huntington, Arkansas, he was the beloved son of Edith Mae (Cole) Feimster and Glenice F. Feimster Sr. In his earlier days, Glenice was an avid bowler, earning many trophies through his local mens bowling league. He was also a proud veteran, who began serving his time in the army early on in 1956. Glenice was a man of faith, being a dedicated member of the Jehovah's Witness Organization. His favorite pastimes included watching baseball, bowling, and going fishing. He will be remembered as a loving husband, amazing father, loyal friend, and a caring brother. Glenice was a joy to be with, often kidding around and bringing laughter to the friends and close family that always surrounded him. He was the type of man who would truly do anything for anyone. He leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, one that he could be proud of. Glenice is survived by his wife, Frances L. Feimster; one daughter, Glennice F. Kimble and husband Joseph M. Kimble; eight grandchildren, Glenice III, Donnice, Khalil, Cecily, Tabitha, Jasmine, Dominic, and Darrell; seven great-grandchildren, Hezaki, Tyrell, Sariah, Amillion, Rayshawn, Jonathan, and Elijah; his siblings, Carol Watson, Peggy Williams, Geneva Hampton, Danny Feimster, and Debra Ann Johnson; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his parents; his three brothers, Curtis Feimster, Lee Feimster, and Jimmy Feimster, and his grandparents. A Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904. Jorge Zacarias will officiate, and Pallbearers will be Curtis Feimster Jr., Dewayne Feimster, Rodney Feimster, Lamont Williams, Devon Feimster, and Kevin Feimster. Honorary Pallbearer is Jorge Zacarias. For Repass information, please consult with the family. Visitation will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the Lewis Chapel. A Committal Service will be held at the Fort Smith National Cemetery at 9 AM on Monday July 29, 2024.
