Glenn Bertelmann, 80, of Waimea, Hawaii, died on Friday, December 20, 2024 at Family Ranch, Kamoku, Hawaii. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was the founder of Bertelmann Inc., Elder of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Hawaiian Homestead Rancher, Boy Scouts of America Leader-Troop 140, Lifetime supporter of Na Kalai Wa'a. Services to be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Family Property near 64-740 Kahilu Road (Hawaiian Homes Farm lots). Signs will be posted in Kuhio Village and on Mana Road. Visitation 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.; Service 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon; Burial to follow at family plot. Casual Attire. He is survived by, wife, Delsa (Lindsey) Bertelmann of Waimea; children, Darin (Ginger) Bertelmann of Waimea, Kamuela (Deedee) Bertelmann of Pu'uanahulu, Sheri (Cullen) Spencer of Waimea, Kahealani (Ezekiel) Wakinekona of Waimea, Kehau (Imaikalani Makanani) Bertelmann of Waimea, Leila (Koa) Bertelmann-Tabiolo of Waimea and Kamakana (Jaeleen) Bertelmann of Waimea; brother, Milton "Shorty" (Susan) Bertelmann of Kawaihae; sister, Lynda Bertelmann of Waimea; sister-in-law, Deedee Bertelmann of Waimea; 21 Grandchildren; 19 Great-grandchildren; Numerous nieces and nephews.

Glenn and I were young men starting out in business together a long time ago. I liked him immediately and have admired his devotion to God, family and community ever since. We in Waimea have benefitted greatly from Glenn and the Bertelmann Ohana. He will rest very high on the mountain!
