Glenn Bridges

Gleen will be missed as a neighbor since the seventies. Just not seening him or communicating with him is tough. Glad we spend time toghter.

Heartbroken to hear of my 5th grade teacher Mr. Bridges passing. He touched so many hearts and lives. I was in his 5th grade class at Whitcomb Elementary in 1996 and have so many wonderful memories. He will always be my favorite teacher. We exchanged Christmas cards for nearly 30 years. He was such a kindhearted, caring man. He was still teaching as a substitute teacher at Deer Park until recently. RIP Mr. Bridges. I know you will be dearly missed.

Coach Bridges was my 5th grade teacher at Whitcomb Elementary in the '80s. We kept in touch over the years - at times he even sent gifts to my kids at Christmas! He made such an impact on all of his students, making each one feel special and cared for. He stayed after school with us to help with projects like Rodeo Art, gave everyone fun nicknames, and was just always there for us. The world lost a truly beautiful soul; I am so grateful to have known him.

He will always be Coach Bridges to me at Whitcomb Elementary ('70's). He was a wonderful encourager, with a huge smile. He began my love of running and I continued with track and cross country through high school.
