Glenn Robert Davis

Glenn Robert Davis, age 77, of Venice, Florida, passed away on May 6, 2013. He was born on November 22, 1935 in Weirton, West Virginia. He was a truck driver and retired in 1990. Glenn was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and worked there for 15 years, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Moose Lodge, and American Legion. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Davis; eleven children, Glenn Robert (Frieda) Davis, Jr. of Las Vegas, Nevada, William Ray (Dianna) Davis of Phoenix, Arizona, Mary Ann (Clarence) Loy of Riverside, California, John Victor Davis, Kenneth James (Penny) Davis, Dolores Marie (Scott) Paul all of Steubenville, Ohio, Domonic Joseph (Beckey) Davis of Columbus, Ohio, Tif (Susan) Molinaro of Satellite Beach, Florida, Karen (Tim) Bowles of Nokomis, Florida, Rose (Mike) Dolan of Venice, Florida, Donna (Jeff) Shay of Richmond, Ohio; two brothers, John P. (Jeanie) Davis of Abbotts Town, Pennsylvania and Harold E. "Buck" (Bonnie) Davis of Venice, Florida. Glenn also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his dad, mom, 2 sisters, daughter and son. A memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Friday, May 10th at 2:00 pm. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
