Glenn Patrick Duncan, 60, of Selbyville, DE, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Born on February 19, 1965 and raised in Rockville, MD, Glenn was a devoted husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support to his family and friends.
Glenn graduated from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School and Mount St Marys University. He worked over 35 years in finance at Chevy Chase Bank and National Cooperative Bank.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Ellen Marie (nee Gunn) his children, Patrick, Luke, and Erin; his in-laws Larry & Carole Gunn along with his brothers, Dwight, Bruce (Lynn), Doug (Barb), Jimmy (Maeve), and Brian (Christine). He is also survived by his sisters, LeeAnne (Lou), MaryJo (Dave), Bernadette (Mark), MaryAnne (Paul) and Monica (Marty) and his sister-in-law Meribeth (Luis) and brother-in-law, Kevin (Megan). Glenn was a cornerstone of his family, always providing guidance, support, and laughter. He was deeply cherished by all who knew him. Nothing made him happier than hosting a boisterous crowd at their home in Fenwick Island, with Grateful Dead music, laughter, drinks and food. The cocktail cruises at sunset were legendary - both in Fenwick and Brantingham Lake. Glenn was a lifelong fan of the Washington Commanders football team, never wavering in his support.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ocean City, MD. Luncheon to immediately follow at Bear Trap Dunes in Clubhouse in Ocean View, DE. Sending so much love and prayers to your family. I had such a great time with Glenn, Erin, and my dad at his Fenwick house almost a decade ago. His energy was nothing short of exuberantly positive, and filled the entire room. Rest in peace.
