Glenn L. Edelstein

Glenn Edelstein, 59, of Cazenovia, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, NY. He was predeceased by his father, Carlyle, and his mother, Jane. He was born on September 28, 1965 in Syracuse and grew up in the Jamesville-Dewitt area.

Glenn had a fearless spirit and love of adventure. Learning from his father, Carl, he was an avid skier, BMX and motocross racer with his brother, Eric.

Glenn later found his greatest adventure when he met his wife, Cindy. Together they built a family with three children and shared 33 years of marriage. Above all, Glenn was a loving and devoted father who never hesitated to be there for his children, whether it be attending his sons' sporting events, his daughter's dance performances, or simply being present for any of life's everyday moments that mattered most.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Eckert); his children, Chloe (Scott) Collins of Chicago, IL, Caleb Edelstein of Saratoga, NY, and Christian (Deanna) Edelstein of Jersey City, NJ; and his brother, Eric (Jennifer) Edelstein of Norwich, VT. Glenn is also survived by his loving extended family throughout the Syracuse area.

Glenn dedicated the past 26 years to Day Automation, where his commitment and expertise left a lasting impact. There, his co-workers truly became his closest friends.

Family and friends may attend calling hours from 12:00-2:00pm on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Road, Manlius, NY, with a service to follow at 2:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Glenn's memory.
