Glenn Franklin Falls

LYFORD- Glenn Franklin Falls, 70, of Lyford, Indiana died at 3:09 pm Sunday, March 18, 2012 in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. He was a carpenter and retired from White Construction of Clinton. He was born September 11, 1941 in Rosedale, Indiana to the late John Raleigh Falls and Hazel Jeanette Brown Falls. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Maribelle Lenover Falls whom he married November 2, 1963 in Clinton. Also surviving, one son, Terry Falls and wife Libby Falls of Lyford; two daughters, Bonnie Falls of Clinton and Teresa Parke of Clinton; two brothers, John Falls of Greenfield, Indiana and Richard Lee Falls of Clinton; one sister, Suetta Hadley of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; He was preceded in death by a son, Glenn Franklin "Pete" Falls and a sister, Sandra Copeland. He served from 1954 until 1958 with the United States Marines. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 21, in Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home at 287 N. Main Street in Rosedale, with Chaplain Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will follow with military graveside honors by Clinton American Legion post 140 in Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation is from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm Wednesday at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home.
